- Lightweight
The titanium we use for our exhaust systems is produced exclusively for us. It is three times stronger and is more heat resistant than any other titanium product on the market and 40% lighter than stainless steel. The high strength allows us to use thinner insulation while still achieving the highest quality standards. In fact, this brings our clients the decisive advantage on the race track.
- Performance and quality
Motorcycles are our domain, where we are accustomed to being hard to please. We consider our new products to be ready for a production run, when we are convinced we created a cutting edge product. Our goal is to make the perfect torque and the perfect power curve. Our research and development department is provided with the latest equipment, so that they are able to combine their collective know-how obtained at many race tracks and even Formula 1, and apply it in practice.
The new sport exhaust system helps the 458 Italia achieve an increase of 11 PS (8 kW) and 26 Nm of torque (19 lb-ft) over the standard exhaust all the while subtracting 14 kg from the curb-weight of the 458 due to its titanium make up.
